Bolton v Arsenal Premiership Preview: Elmander Still Missing For The Trotters – Nasri A Major Doubt For Wenger

Bolton Wanderers Host Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal in their Premier League match at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.

The Trotters have not won since the opening day of the season against Premiership debutantes Stoke City at the Reebok, with Gary Megson’s side only other point also coming at home against West Bromwich Albion. Which has left Bolton in 13th place, with Wanderers struggling to score goals without record summer signing Johan Elmander.

For Arsenal it is business as usual, with the Gunners sitting pretty in 3rd place as you would expect. Wenger’s only defeat this season has come at Fulham, with his Emirates side making the trip to the Reebok on the back of a good draw in the Champions League and a 4-0 win away at Blackburn Rovers last week. Which saw striker Emmanuel Adebayor hit a hat-trick at Ewood Park.

Bolton will still be without record signing Elmander, who could be back next week from his hamstring injury, with Matthew Taylor (ankle) also to miss the visit of the North London side.

Arsene Wenger will give Samir Nasri every chance to recover from a knee injury, though the French International remains a major doubt, while Arsenal are also without long-term absentees Eduardo (broken leg) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) along with Mikael Silvestre (thigh), Amary Bischoff (groin) and Abou Diaby (Thigh).
