Manchester City have swooped to complete the signing of Brazilian International Glauber from German side FC Nurnberg, according to reports.
25-year-old central-defender Glauber had been at Nurnberg since 2005, but was keen to secure a move away from the Frankenstadion after Nurnberg were relegated from the Bundesliga last season.
He will arrive at the Eastlands Stadium on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee, and will become City boss Mark Hughes’ 6th signing of the summer.
Glauber holds an Italian passport, which means there is no need for the Brazilian to obtain a work permit.
