Brazilian Legend Ronaldo Agrees To Sign For Man City?

Brazilian legend Ronaldo is to join Premier League side Manchester City in January on a one-year deal worth £7million, with the option to extend the deal for a second year, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

31-year-old Ronaldo is understood to have met with officials from City last week, but asked for a week to consider the offer, with it believed that Brazilian side Flamengo were also interested in the former AC Milan and Real Madrid striker.

Ronaldo has been a free agent since being released from his contract at the San Siro by Milan in the summer, after the former three-time FIFA World Player of the Year had sat most of the Serie A season out with a knee ligament injury.

City had been linked with a move for the forward known as ‘The Phenomenon’ all summer, but the speculation had died down following the takeover at Eastlands of the ADUG. However, it now appears that Ronaldo will join City in the Premiership in January.
