Liverpool's Agger Hints At January Anfield Exit?

Danish International Daniel Agger has suggested that he could be ready to leave Liverpool in the January transfer window after revealing that the Merseyside club are yet to offer the central-defender a new deal at Anfield.

23-year-old Agger joined the Reds in 2006 from Brondby and his present deal with Rafa Benitez’s side runs out in 2010.

However, Agger has not featured for Liverpool since their first leg Champions League qualifier against Standard Liege in August, with it understood that the defender is growing frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities at the Premiership club.

Agger has confirmed that Liverpool are yet to make an offer of an extension to his current deal at Anfield.

“I can confirm that I have not received any offer for a contract extension from Liverpool,” he told Ekstra Bladet.
