Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has conceded that Croatian International Vedran Corluka may still leave the Eastlands Stadium to sign for Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night.
22-year-old right-back Corluka has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane for the last few weeks, with the arrival of Argentine Pablo Zabaleta further fuelling speculation that the former Dinamo Zagreb defender is heading for the North London club.
Hughes has revealed now that he is not sure if Corluka will still be a City player come tomorrow morning, with the former Blackburn chief confirming that the matter still has to be resolved.
Hughes said: “At the moment, there is a lot of interest from Spurs. It's not resolved in one way or the other at the moment.
‘Those things need to be resolved and come to a conclusion. At the end of the day, we are still trying to build the club, trying to bring good players to the club who will make us better.”
Should Corluka decide that his future lies in London and not Manchester, Tottenham will reportedly have to pay City £9.5million for Corluka, who has only spent one season with the North West side.
