Hull v Everton Premiership Preview: Cousin In Contention To Replace Fagan For Tigers

The Tigers are the surprise package of the Premiership early on, with the Yorkshire club in a heady 5th place after wins over Newcastle United and Fulham and a draw with Blackburn. However, Brown will be looking for an improved performance from the last one at the KC Stadium, which saw them lose 5-0 to Wigan Athletic.

David Moyes has seen his Toffees side enjoy mixed fortunes this season, with defeats to Blackburn and Portsmouth at Goodison Park, but have won both away games at Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion, which sees them stand mid-table in 11th.

Hull will be without Craig Fagan, who broke his leg after a horrific tackle by Danny Guthrie at Newcastle last week, with midfielder George Boateng also likely to miss the visit of the Merseyside club.

The Toffees still have an injury crisis at Goodison, with Leon Osman (knee), Lars Jacobsen (shoulder), Steven Pienaar (ankle), Andy Van Der Meyde (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (knee) and summer signing Louis Saha (calf) all missing for the trip to Hull, but Moyes will be pleased to have Tim Cahill back in his line-up after the Australian International scored the winner on his return against the Potters.
