Everton To Make £6million January Move For Spurs' Huddlestone?

Everton are understood to be considering making a £6million bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone, when the transfer window reopens in January, according to The Sun.

Huddlestone has been at Spurs since joining from Derby County in 2005 and has made 57 appearances for Tottenham, with the defensive-midfielder spending the 2005/06 season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Toffees boss David Moyes had been linked with a move for Huddlestone during the summer as a replacement for Lee Carsley, who made the switch to Championship side Birmingham City this summer.

However, England Under-21 International Huddlestone chose to sign a new five-year at Spurs worth £40,000-a-week, which will keep him White Hart Lane until 2013, but could be tempted to leave Spurs, having only started once under Tottenham manager Juande Ramos this season. Despite the North London club enduring their worst start to a season for 53 years.
