West Brom v Fulham Premiership Preview: Teixeira In Contention For Baggies – Johnson Suspended For Cottagers

Tony Mowbray’s West Bromwich Albion host Fulham in their premier League match at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

The Baggies will go into this clash with Fulham full of confidence after their 1-0 win against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium last weekend, which was the Midlands side first away win in the Premier League this season. West Brom now stand 12th in the table and are improving after a shaky start to the campaign.

The Cottagers are just a point behind West Brom and are in 15th, with Roy Hodgson’s side looking a far improved team from the one that narrowly avoided relegation from the Premiership last season. However, Fulham go into this clash on the back of two straight defeats in the League to Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United.

Neil Clement (knee), Abdoulaye Meite (calf), Chris Brunt (hamstring) and Kim Do-Heon (knee) will all miss the visit of the West London club, but Mowbray could pick Felipe Teixeira in his Baggies squad after the players recovery from injury.

Hodgson will only be missing strikers Diomansy Camara (knee) and Andy Johnson, who is suspended after being sent off against West Ham United last weekend. Bobby Zamora looks set to lead the line for Fulham.
