Young Turkish Star Claims Man United Contact

Turkish Under-21 International Sercan Yildirim has claimed that Premier League Champions Manchester United have made an approach to his club Bursaspor along with making contact with the young forwards family.

18-year-old Yildirim has been at the Timsahlar since 2006 and is the joint top-scorer in the Turkcell Super Lig, with the youngster scoring four goals in four games so far this season with Bursaspor and is considered one of the brightest prospects in Turkish football.

Bursaspor value Yildirim in the region of £5million and will be reluctant to let their young prodigy leave the Bursa Ataturk Stadium for Old Trafford, but Yildirim has revealed that he is happy at the interest of United, with the forward claiming that the Champions League Winners have been in contact with both his family and Bursaspor.

“Manchester United have been in contact with my family and the president of my club - that makes me very happy,” Yildirim told Turkish media.
