Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has blasted Champions League opponents Dynamo Kiev for their bully-boy tactics against his Gunners side in the Ukraine on Wednesday night.
Wenger was also angry at Spanish referee Luis Medina Cantalejo, who only booked Kiev skipper Andriy Nesmachniy on a night when the left-back took out England International Theo Walcott three times.
Wenger fumed: “Three times in the game the left-back destroyed Walcott.”
The Frenchman also denied Kiev’s claims that William Gallas’ late equaliser was offside, with Wenger asserting it was the same referee that should have sent Nesmachniy off.
Wenger said: “It is the same referee who should have sent the left-back off.
‘The penalty was harsh and Sagna was convinced that Ognjen Vukojevic pulled him with two hands on his shirt and he still went down.
“But we can't complain about that, we have to deal with it.
“The game is a mixture of frustration and relief.”
