Man City To Make January Bid For Dutch Starlet Afellay?

Manchester City are planning to make a bid for PSV Eindhoven playmaker Ibrahim Afellay in January, according to reports.

22-year-old Afellay has been at PSV since 2003 and has made 85 appearances for the Eredivisie Champions, with the midfielder making his debut as a Dutch International in 2007, when he chose Holland over Morocco after both countries named him in their squads.

Afellay is understood to have an £11million buyout clause in his deal at Philips Stadion, which would represent no problem to the new wealthy owner’s at the Eastlands Stadium, should City make a January move for the Dutch starlet.
