Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly already started making initial enquires about Newcastle United midfielder Charles N’Zogbia, with a view to a move to the North London club in January.
22-year-old N’Zogbia had been linked with a move from St James’ Park to White Hart Lane in the summer, with Spurs local rivals Arsenal also said to be interested in the versatile left-sided player.
N’Zogbia had declared that he wanted to stay at the Magpies during the summer, but this appears to have changed following the North East club trying to sell him on transfer deadline day and manager Kevin Keegan resigning from the Premier League club soon after.
The French Under-21 International now wants to sort out his future with Newcastle, after spending four-years with United since joining from Le Havre in 2004, with it understood that N’Zogbia’s name is on a list of targets for Spurs boss Juande Ramos when the transfer window opens in January.
