Villa Youngster Osbourne Signs New Deal

Aston Villa youngster Isaiah Osbourne has agreed a new three-year deal at Villa Park, with Villans manager Martin O’Neill believing that the midfielder has a big future in the Premier League.

20-year-old Osbourne made his Premiership debut for Villa in 2006 against Fulham and has made 19 appearances for the Midlands club, but despite not being a regular starter under O’Neill, the Villa boss insists that the defensive-midfielder has a future with the club.

“I am delighted Isaiah has signed,” O’Neill told the club’s official website.

“He has ability and great strength and his attitude has been fantastic this season. His contract was running out and we wanted to renew it.

“We think he has a future here and, importantly, so does Isaiah.”
