Arsenal's Eduardo Back Within Weeks

Arsenal striker Eduardo could return to the Gunners team within weeks as opposed to the Christmas period as originally thought, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

25-year-old Eduardo has been on the sidelines at the Emirates Stadium since a horror tackle by Martin Taylor in the Premier League clash against Birmingham City at St Andrews in February.

The tackle, which was one of the worst ever seen in the Premiership fractured the Croatian International’s fibula as well as dislocating Eduardo’s ankle, which led some Croatian fans to go as far as issue death threats against Taylor, amidst fears the Brazilian born striker might never play again.

However, The Times claim that Wenger has revealed that the former Dinamo Zagreb player, who was in impressive form before the career threatening injury will be back by mid November, which is over a month ahead of the forward’s expected comeback in an Arsenal shirt.
