Hull Boss Brown: "It Is Dreamland"

Hull City manager Phil Brown has revealed that his Tigers side have more points in the Premier League than he expected at this early stage of the campaign after back-to-back wins in North London over Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premiership debutantes followed up their shock 2-1 win at the Emirates with a 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane on Sunday. Which sees the Tigers stand 3rd in the table after a tremendous start to their first foray into top-flight football.

“We're about three ahead of our points tally because we didn't expect to beat Arsenal at the Emirates. We are ahead of schedule. It is dreamland,” said Brown.

“We will have lows. Our response to those lows is the key factor. But we defended manfully again and kept our work rate high. I love 1-0 wins. As a defensive coach they are fantastic to see.

"I've never looked at the league table since the start of the season; now I'll have to start looking.”

Hull are now just three points behind pacesetters Chelsea and Liverpool and are undefeated away from the KC Stadium this season, with the Yorkshire side taking 10 out of 12 points on their travels.
