West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray is planning another raid on La Liga club Real Mallorca in January, with striker Oscar Trejo being lined up in a £5million deal to join former team mate Borja Valero at the Hawthorns, according to reports.
20-year-old Argentine Trejo had been linked with a move to the Baggies during the summer, but a deal could not be reached between Albion and the Balearic Island club. Which meant only midfielder Valero leaving the ONO Estadi, who has been a huge hit since his arrival in the Premier League.
Mowbray is now understood to be planning a fresh bid for Trejo when the transfer window opens in January, with the former Boca Juniors player top on the Baggies manager’s January shopping list as West Brom look to secure their Premiership status for another season.
