Tottenham Hotspur are due to face Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round at Old Trafford if United overcome Championship side Southampton in their third round clash.

The Red Devils and Spurs are both destined to meet at Wembley in the Carling Cup if they can overcome Derby County and Burnley respectively in their forthcoming semi-finals.

The only other, all Premier League fourth round tie pairs Liverpool and Everton together in a Merseyside derby at Anfield. Arsenal, have been drawn away to Cardiff City, while Fulham are away at non-league club Kettering Town. West Ham United must travel to Victoria Park to face League 1 side Hartlepool, who knocked Premiership club Stoke City out in the last round.

All fourth round FA Cup ties are to be played over the weekend of January 24-25th.

Everton Look To Pancrate To Ease Striker Crisis

Everton manager David Moyes has been linked with a move for Paris St Germain striker Fabrice Pancrate in the January transfer window, with the Toffees boss desperately in need of some more firepower upfront at Goodison Park due to injuries.

The Merseyside club face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday at Goodison, but Moyes only has one fit striker in Victor Anichebe available, with Yakubu and James Vaughan both out with long-term injuries and summer signing Louis Saha suffering from persistent hamstring problems.



28-year-old Pancrate had been a summer target for Premiership debutantes Hull City and could leave PSG on loan in January or for a modest fee of around £1million due to his present deal at the Parc des Princes running out at the end of the season.

Pancrate has been at PSG since joining from Ligue 1 rivals Le Mans in 2004 and has made 68 league appearances for the French side. However, Pancrate is not what you would call a natural goalscorer and has only scored 9 goals in the French top-flight for PSG since he left Le Mans, with the striker spending a short loan spell at La Liga side Real Betis in 2007.

Moyes is also reportedly interested in Manchester City summer signing Jo, who has struggled to make an impact at the Eastlands Stadium since his move from CSKA Moscow. However, it is understood that while City manager Mark Hughes may let the Brazilian International go out on loan. Hughes would be reluctant to loan Jo to another Premier League club.

Arsenal are tracking two players at former England manager Steve McClaren’s Eredivisie side FC Twente, with winger Eljero Elia along with defender Douglas (below) both reportedly on the radar of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

21-year-old Elia is also a target for Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Hull City, Blackburn Rovers and Everton, with the Tigers along with the Toffees and Blackburn believed to have watched Elia in action for Twente against Manchester City in the UEFA Cup recently at the Eastlands Stadium. Wenger is believed to have been at the European clash to run the rule over Elia personally.

Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley is also understood to have watched Elia play for Twente against SC Heerenveen in the Eredivisie recently, with the young Dutchman putting in an electric performance.

Wenger is also believed to be interested in Twente’s Brazilian defender Douglas, with the Frenchman seeing the 20-year-old as a good prospect for the future at the Emirates Stadium.

Elia, who joined Twente from ADO Den Haag in 2007 had attracted attention from La Liga side Valencia in the summer, but opted against a move to the Mestalla and revealed a desire to ply his trade in the Premiership one day. Manchester City are planning a £6million raid on Premier League debutantes Hull City when the transfer window reopens in January, with defender Michael Turner the target for City, according to The Mirror.

While the Tigers have been the surprise package of the Premiership this season. Turner has been putting in solid performances for the Yorkshire club this campaign and has been an ever-present for Hull, who are 6th in the league.

Turkish International Colin Kazim-Richards has revealed that he would love a return to the Premier League from Turkish side Fenerbahce, with Hull City, Sunderland and Manchester City all reportedly interested in the former Sheffield United player.

22-year-old Kazim-Richards has risen to prominence since he joined Fenerbahce from the Blades in 2007, which has seen the player, who started his career at Bury star in EURO 2008 during the summer and become an integral part of the Turkish sides Champions League campaign this season.

Kazim-Richards is a crowd favourite at the Sari Kanaryalar, but despite this is still keen on a return to England, with the winger, who is valued at around £4million wanted by Premiership trio Man City, Hull and Roy Keane’s Black Cats.

The former Brighton player has also responded to criticism that he has a bad reputation, something that Kazim-Richards claims has followed him since a public spat with Seagulls boss Mark McGhee, but insists that it is unfounded and would love a return to the Premier League to show what he can do.

“A lot of people had question marks over me in England because rumours were spread in football that I was a bad apple following my time at Brighton,” he told the Daily Mirror.

“I had a problem with Mark McGhee there and the press seized on that and it seemed to follow me wherever I went.

“But if I was a troublemaker why would Fenerbahce have signed me?

“They are maybe in the top five best supported teams in the world.

“They have shown they can get some of the world's best. They wouldn't waste their time if I was trouble.

“I come from East London and if people have a go I have a go back. But I've played in the Champions League against Arsenal and Chelsea and also in the Euros.

“I don't think there is a doubt I'm a better player since leaving England. I'd love to come back and show people what I can do.”

Hart-Ache For Joe As City Keeper Ruled Out Of Germany Clash

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has been ruled out of England’s friendly International with Germany on Wednesday, City manager Mark Hughes confirmed on Monday.

21-year-old Hart injured his ankle in the Premier League clash with Hull City on Sunday after colliding with Daniel Cousin and could be on the sidelines at the Eastlands Stadium for up to a month.

“He'll have to be seen by our medical people when he gets back but he's likely to be out for a minimum of three to four weeks,” said Hughes.

“He's obviously out of the England squad, which is a blow to him, but most importantly it's a blow to us because we have some key games coming up. It will definitely be three or four weeks I think.”

Hart had been hoping to add to his one cap for England against the Germans, having made his debut for the senior squad against Trinidad and Tobago in May and will be replaced by Blackburn Rovers keeper Paul Robinson.
